Happy Birthday To Me With A Lovely Leonberger Photo

Today is my birthday, so I thought I would post this nice birthday card from a friend of ours. That’s Bronco, our late Leonberger.

My wife organized a ski trip to Breckenridge Colorado as a birthday present for me and my son who also has a March birthday. This is a photo from that trip a bit more than a week ago. We skied most of the time but one day we hiked with snowshoes.

    1. Thank you Deanne. Yes the ski trip was very nice. My wife planned it out really well and we went to nice restaurants and I skied in the Imperial Bowl (13,000+ feet, 4,000+ meters above ground). It had powder snow and a great view.

    1. Thank you so much Avigail. Yes I thought it was nice that she made a special Bronco card. I grew up skiing so I am the best skier in the family. However, I’ve never taken a ski lesson so my technique is wrong. I can basically go in almost any slope including black double diamond bowls with lots of moules and I can go fast, but to a ski teacher it doesn’t look right. I lean too much on the side and my feet wobble in turns. A ski teacher offered to fix it, but heck I’ve been skiing that way all my life. I am getting old.
